Two years ago, when I first enrolled at NAIT to pursue a career in graphic design, I had no idea that it would be the start of something so amazing. Since developing my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator during my studies, I have spent countless hours studying web design and development so that I could hone my skills and create beautiful masterpieces. With this knowledge, I decided to found Vectra Graphics – a business dedicated to helping clients create and maximize their online presence.
Previously I had grown a small family business and ran it for many years. That experience as a business owner instilled a desire in me to help my community. As much as I enjoyed my current field, it never brought me the same level of satisfaction that helping others did. That's why when the opportunity arose to jump into digital design, there was no hesitation – I had found the perfect way to combine my business skills and creativity with my desire to make an impact on the world around me. Every morning since then has been a joy and I truly believe this career gives me more of a purpose than ever before.
